Song of the end of the month:

I haven't listened to Camera Obscura all that much yet, sorry Melissa, which may make it difficult to be too opinionated, but I'll try and it is what I'm best at.

Camera Obscura is from Scotland. I believe the Scottish are cool for two reasons: I'm Scottish and they invented water polo.

My favorite song by them so far is Razzle Dazzle Rose, but that wasn't the song that came up when randomly picking a song.

I think Traceyanne Campbell has a beautiful voice, and overall the music is just melodic and pretty. However, especially with pretty monotonous drums, I could easily get bored listening to a whole album. However, listening to one of their albums in entirety has it's place, as does all music. For instance it makes for good music to have in the background while I'm writing and drinking tea in the stillness of the night.

What's crazy is that they have been around since 1996; I was in 2nd grade then, and I'm just now listening to their stuff.

So check them out for yourself and let me know what you think.
